To raise the awareness and sense of responsibility of local people for environmental protection and preservation of its pollution-free and plastic-free ecosystem, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department held a ceremony to launch a “Clean the World” campaign in Con Dao district.
At the ceremony, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department presented 5 trash bins to the Con Dao District Police Station to place at tourist attraction locations, as well as mobilize Youth Union members to collect plastic waste at beaches and playgrounds, contributing to maintaining a clean landscape and disseminating an environmental protection message among tourists and local people.
On the same day, at the Con Dao District Military-Civilian Medical Center, doctors from the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Infirmary and the Cho Ray Hospital offered free health checkups and consultations to local people.

During the program, nearly 400 local people were examined and provided ultrasounds and electrocardiograms by doctors, through which complex diseases were detected.
For patients with serious diseases detected, doctors advised them to go to higher-level hospitals for further treatments.
In addition, doctors also gave people advice on disease prevention and self-care.
To facilitate the work of healthcare in Con Dao district, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department and the PetroVietnam Gas Corporation presented to the local medical center a number of modern medical equipment, while the Cho Ray Hospital presented medicine cabinets to all 9 local residential areas.

In response to the “For the poor – No one is left behind” movement, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department and other benefactors presented gifts to 20 disadvantaged families in the district.
The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department also decided to support two lonely local elderly people with 2 million VND per month.
