Police provide free health checkups for policy beneficiaries in Hai Duong province

MPS - The Hai Duong Provincial Police Department organized free health checkups, counseling and medications for relatives of martyrs, wounded soldiers and other policy beneficiaries in Gia Khanh commune, Gia Loc district and Hung Dao commune, Tu Ky district, on November 23 and 24.

The program was participated in by more than 20 doctors, nurses, technicians, officers and soldiers from the Logistics Office under the Hai Duong Provincial Police Department, district police stations of Gia Loc and Tu Ky as well as officials from the communes of Gia Khanh and Hung Dao, and Hai Linh Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

During the two days, the doctors and nurses examined and gave health counseling to more than 250 war veterans, people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs' families. 

According to the organizers, regular health checkups is very important as through the checkup, doctors can early detect diseases and abnormal signs in people’s body so as to treat the diseases more effectively, and help people understand their own health conditions to adjust their healthful diet and lifestyle, and do more exercise.

The volunteer examination program was part of the activities of the local police to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of the People's Public Security Logistic and Technical Force (January 25, 1948). 

The program was also seen as a great spiritual gift and deep thanks from local police officers to those who have contributed to the Fatherland.
