As part of the program, the delegation visited and presented gifts to a Vietnamese Heroic Mother, as well as wounded and sick veterans and other individuals with meritorious services receiving care at the Phu Tho Provincial Nursing Center for People with Meritorious Services.
Director of the Department of Planning and Finance Major General Pham Truong Giang and Deputy Director of the Phu Tho Provincial Police Department Colonel Bui Viet Hung headed the delegation.

Visiting Vietnamese Heroic Mother Hoang Thi Hanh (born 1942), residing in Phu Tho ward, Phu Tho province, who lost her husband and son in the war, Major General Pham Truong Giang and Colonel Bui Viet Hung sincerely inquired about her health and living conditions.
They expressed deep gratitude for the immense sacrifices made by her family and the fallen heroes for the nation’s independence, freedom and the people’s peace and happiness.
The delegates encouraged the Mother and other members of the family to uphold their revolutionary tradition and educate younger generations to follow the Party’s guidelines, abide by State laws, and work hard to continuously improve their living standards and contribute to the building of their hometown and the country.
On this occasion, Major General Pham Truong Giang presented a gift to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Hoang Thi Hanh.
Colonel Bui Viet Hung also offered financial support to her, as she is one of two Vietnamese Heroic Mothers lifelong cared by the Phu Tho Provincial Police Department.

At the Phu Tho Provincial Nursing Center for People with Meritorious Services, the delegation inquired after wounded and sick soldiers and encouraged them to maintain both physical well-being and peace of mind during their time in the center.
During the visit, the Department of Planning and Finance donated a television to the center, while leaders of both units presented 28 gifts to wounded and sick soldiers.
The gifts conveyed the heartfelt appreciation and gratitude of officers and personnel from the Department of Planning and Finance and the Phu Tho Provincial Police Department to those who have rendered great service to the nation.
