Policewomen bring warm Tet to people in the border highlands of Quang Nam province

MPS - Recently, the Women's Union chapters of the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department and the Da Nang Municipal Police Department jointly conducted the program "Warm winter - Spring love" in Tr'Hy border commune, Tay Giang district, Quang Nam, sharing love with local people, particularly poor ones, on the veranda to Tet (lunar New Year).
Female police officers offer necessities and household goods to reputable people and families in difficult circumstances in Tr'Hy commune.
 
Tr'Hy border commune, Tay Giang district, has nearly 400 households with more than 95% of the Co Tu ethnic group while the number of poor households accounts for 57%.
 
Female police officers gave warm clothes and gifts to the village elders and reputable people as well as offered 80 packages of necessities, 50 packages of household goods, including warm blankets, mats, pillows, brasses, buckets, and clothe hangers, to disadvantaged families in the commune.
 
Female police officers present gifts to students at kindergartens and primary schools.
 
During the program, they also popularized the Traffic Law and donated helmets to local people, thereby contributing to raising the local people’s awareness of traffic law observance.
 
The female police officers from Quang Nam and Da Nang gave many gifts and 500 notebooks to students in local kindergartens and primary schools.
 
Police officers offer free haircut to people.
 
This year, the two Women's Union chapters are also planning to carry out a similar program in Gari commune, the furthest border locality of Tay Giang district in the hope that they can bring love to more disadvantaged people and children in remote places.
