Bac Ninh City Police Department established

Politburo Member, Secretary of the Public Security CPV Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang chaired the ceremony.

The event was also attended by Member of the CPV Central Committee and Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai, and Member of the CPV Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long.

At the ceremony, a leader of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the Minister of Public Security’s decision on the establishment of the Bac Ninh City Police Department, along with other decisions regarding its organization and personnel.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organisation and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulated the Party organization, administration and people of Bac Ninh on this significant milestone in the locality’s  construction and development, which opens up new opportunities and prospects for Bac Ninh to achieve stronger development in the coming period.

Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that Bac Ninh’s elevation to a centrally-governed city was a source of immense honor and pride, while also entrusting the Bac Ninh City Police Department with new and highly important responsibilities.

To fulfill its glorious responsibilities in the new revolutionary period, the Minister requested the Bac Ninh City Police Department to foster a common understanding of and effectively implement the principles of comprehensive security and development-enabling security.

He stressed that the Bac Ninh City Police Department’s work to ensure security and order should provide a firm foundation for successfully developing the city and improving all aspects of the people’s lives.

Therefore, the Bac Ninh City Police Department should comprehensively enhance its security and order work to meet the requirements and tasks arising during this pivotal stage of the city’s development.

It should firmly maintain security and order, ensure that it is never caught off guard under any circumstances, and strive to soon build Bac Ninh into an orderly, safe, civilized, harmonious and developed city.

The Minister also requested the Bac Ninh City Police Department to focus on building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern police force commensurate with the status of a centrally-governed city.

On behalf of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Bac Ninh City Police Department, Major General Bui Duy Hung stated that the City Police Department’s establishment represented not merely an organizational restructuring but also a call for the municipal police force to uphold its responsibility, honor and professional courage before the local Party committee, administration and people.

The Bac Ninh City Police Department pledged to remain united and maintain absolute consensus at all levels; inherit and promote its proud traditions; uphold discipline and order; renew its thinking; and take resolute action.

Upholding the emulation movement “Three Mosts: Most Disciplined – Most Loyal – Closest to the People” and the approach of “creating security for development,” the Bac Ninh City Police Department is determined to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks, build a regular, elite and modernized police force, and contribute to developing Bac Ninh into a safe, civilized and modern city.
