Decision on Politburo and Secretariat’s third-round inspection over Executive Bureau of the Public Security CPV Committee announced

Member of the Politburo, Member of the CPV Central Committee Secretariat, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission and Head of the Inspection Delegation Nguyen Thanh Nghi was present at the working session that was chaired by Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organization and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang.

The conference was also attended by members of the Inspection and Supervision Delegation, members of the Executive Bureau of the Public Security CPV Committee, other leaders of the Ministry of Public Security as well as representatives of functional bodies under the Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organization and secretaries and heads of units directly under the Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organization.

At the meeting, a representative of Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 235 announced the Politburo’s Decision on Inspection and Supervision and the Delegation's Working Plan. 

Accordingly, the inspection and supervision focus on reviewing the Party Central Committee’s leadership, guidelines, resolutions and execution of personnel work and cadre building.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi stated that, in order to implement the conclusion of General Secretary and State President To Lam on cadre building in line with the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, and based on practical requirements, the Politburo and Secretariat issued Program No. 29-CTr/TW dated July 11, 2026, on the 2026 Inspection and Supervision Plan (Round 3).

The inspection and supervision ensures direct, comprehensive and regular leadership and direction from the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat over personnel work and cadre building. Furthermore, it aims to proactively identify and take preventive measures "from early on and from afar" against shortcomings and limitations in personnel work and management, thereby ensuring these activities adhere strictly to regulations and meet practical demands.

Speaking at the conference, Minister Luong Tam Quang noted that Inspection and Supervision Delegations No. 04 and No. 26 had previously conducted the 1st and 2nd rounds of inspection and supervision for the Executive Bureau of the Public Security CPV Committee. Following those, the Politburo issued conclusions affirming the achievements of the Executive Bureau of the Public Security CPV Committee. 

The Executive Bureau of the Public Security CPV Committee also affirmed that the Central CPV Committee's guiding directives for this 3rd round of inspection and supervision on personnel work play a crucial role in achieving the Party's strategic goals.

The Executive Bureau of the Public Security CPV Committee expressed high consensus with the inspection plan and schedule of the Inspection Delegation, confirming its readiness to coordinate closely and provide all relevant information and documents in a full and timely manner upon request.
