
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung receives leadership of The Asia Group (U.S.)
Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung received senior leader of The Asia Group Daniel Kritenbrink, who is a former U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, on April 13 in Hanoi.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung highly appreciated the role of The Asia Group as a leading U.S. strategic consulting firm, which acts as an effective bridge connecting American enterprises with the Asia–Pacific market, including Vietnam.
He hailed the firm’s recent expanded advisory activities of connecting businesses and investors of the two countries in various areas such as science and technology, energy, healthcare and security and defense.
The Deputy Minister affirmed that the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam seeks to strengthen cooperation with reputable U.S. enterprises and partners like The Asia Group to explore new opportunities, enhance self-reliance, ensure economic security and maintain social stability amid increasingly complex global developments.
To further improve the efficiency of bilateral cooperation, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung suggested that The Asia Group continue supporting bilateral trade and investment ties, assist the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in accessing advanced U.S. technologies, particularly dual-use technologies, contributing to modernizing the Public Security Forces.
He also proposed that, with his experience and professional standing, Mr. Daniel Kritenbrink continue supporting Vietnam to settle bilateral economic and trade issues with the US in a rational manner, creating favorable conditions for the country to deeply integrate in the global economy.
Additionally, the Deputy Minister requested The Asia Group to maintain information exchange, introduce capable and reliable partners to the Ministry to consider as well as recommend areas with much cooperation potential in the coming period.
For his part, Mr. Daniel Kritenbrink expressed appreciation for the meeting and spoke highly of the Ministry’s willingness to promote cooperation with U.S. partners.
He affirmed that he and his team will continue serving as a bridge to connect dependable resilient U.S. firms with their strengths needed by Vietnam and the Ministry of Public Security. He also expressed hope that the Vietnamese Government and the Ministry of Public Security will continue to create favorable conditions for U.S. firms to invest and do business effectively in the country, bringing practical benefits to both countries.
