
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung works with Department of Political Affairs
Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung had a working session with the Department of Political Affairs under the Ministry of Public Security, on the afternoon of March 11 in Hanoi.

According to the leadership of the department, since the beginning of 2026, the unit has closely followed the viewpoints and orientations of Party Central Committee to proactively advise the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry’s leadership to direct political and ideological education work within the Public Security Forces.
Regarding emulation and commendation work, the Department of Political Affairs has proactively advised the Ministry of Public Security to issue the 2026 “For National Security” emulation movement plan with specific solutions and tasks aimed at promoting emulation activities throughout the forces.
In addition, the department’s leadership has attached great importance to promoting cultural, artistic and sports activities within the Public Security Forces.
During the working session, representatives from various divisions under the Department of Political Affairs reported their difficulties and challenges and discussed their key orientations and tasks for the coming period.
Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry’s leadership, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung acknowledged and commended the efforts and achievements of the Department of Political Affairs in recent times.
Regarding the main tasks for the department in the coming period, the Deputy Minister requested the department to review its work program and the working regulations of its Party Committee for the current term, and clearly pointed out the priority tasks that the committee should do from the very beginning of the tenure.
He also emphasized the need to innovate modern appropriate methods of carrying out communication and political education activities, promote the pioneering and creative role of socio-political organizations within the Public Security Forces, and enhance political education at the grassroots level.
At the same time, the department was urged to effectively leverage the distinctive strengths of the Public Security Forces to promote the image and the prestige of the forces in society.
