
Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen visits Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in An Giang
On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Lieu (Quarter 1, Vinh Loi, Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province) and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Boi (Quarter 5, An Hoa, Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province) on the afternoon of July 25, 2026.

During his visits, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen warmly inquired after the mothers' health and daily lives, expressing profound gratitude for the immense sacrifices and contributions made by them and their families to national liberation, reunification, and the defense of the Fatherland.
He affirmed that these sacrifices contributed directly to the nation's independence, freedom, and peace today, serving as a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism. Furthermore, he emphasized that their legacy remains a driving force inspiring generations of public security officers and soldiers to continuously strive and successfully fulfill their mission of safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety.
These visits demonstrate the deep sense of responsibility, affection and gratitude of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Public Security Forces toward those who had rendered meritorious service to the revolution. They also reaffirm the cherished Vietnamese traditions of “When drinking water, remember its source” and “Repaying gratitude” — enduring values that run deep within the life of the nation.
