Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long sends letter of commendation to Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Department

Recently, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Department deployed synchronous professional measures to investigate the case where individuals forged documents and papers of agencies and organizations to make illicit profits from the policy of social housing.

By now, the police have arrested 7 suspects and seized numerous documents and exhibits related to the case.

Via their the investigation, the police determined that the suspects colluded with owners of several companies and enterprises to falsify confirmations of eligible policy beneficiaries and low-income certificates and then sell them to the ones who did not meet the legal criteria for social housing.

The local police’s outstanding achievement demonstrated their high determination, strong sense of responsibility and sharp professional expertise while implementing the directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security on drastically suppressing crimes to ensure security and order during the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 2026 Lunar New Year.

The clearance of the cases contributed to deterring and preventing crime, upholding the strictness of the law, ensuring the efficient implementation of policies and guidelines of the Party and State, and promoting national socio-economic development.

It also helped reinforce the trust and confidence of the people in the Public Security Forces.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long acknowledged and commended the involved units and officers on their accomplishment.

The Deputy Minister requested the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Department and relevant units to promptly expand the investigation, complete related documents and evidence as well as legal procedures to prosecute all involved persons, in accordance with the law.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long wished the Thai Nguyen Police Force to achieve more success at work in the coming time.
