
Deputy Minister Pham The Tung inspects security and order protection for celebration of 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day
Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Head of the Sub-committee on Security and Order for the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, presided over a working session to review security plans for the upcoming grand celebration, on the morning of August 25 in Hanoi.

According to reports presented at the session, the Hanoi City Police Department has mobilized tens of thousands of officers and enlistees to safeguard key routes and places during the celebration, ensuring that forces and vehicles are always ready to be deployed to protect order and security in the city.

Meanwhile, the local police forces also take comprehensive synchronous measures to maintain public order and traffic safety, preventing congestion at celebration venues.
Delegates also discussed in depth the challenges for security protection work, and coordination among forces, particularly focusing on plans to maintain security and order during the drills, the final rehearsal and especially the official grand celebration on September 2.

In his concluding remarks, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung highly hailed the thorough preparation and enormous effort of all participating units, especially the Hanoi City Police Department, that work around the clock to safeguard the event.
As only eight days remain until the official celebration, the Deputy Minister requested that all relevant public security units and agencies exert their utmost effort to perform their assigned tasks. He emphasized that all officers must strictly observe discipline, remain on the highest level of readiness to ensure absolute security and safety, avoiding even the smallest error.

The Deputy Minister also underlined the importance of creating the most favorable conditions for people to attend and observe the grand parade, thereby promoting the positive image of the Public Security Forces that are always dedicated to serving the people.
He stressed that leaders of relevant units should require their subordinates to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, practise politeness and decent conduct toward citizens and international guests, and provide the best possible assistance and guidance for audiences so that they can take part in the celebration in an orderly, safe and joyful atmosphere.
