Hanoi City Police Department reviews 2025 task performance

Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang and Member of the Politburo and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc attended and delivered keynote speeches at the meeting.

In 2025, the Hanoi City Police Department proactively advised the Hanoi Party Committee and the Hanoi People’s Committee to issue and effectively implement directives, programs and plans to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of maintaining security and order in the capital.

The Hanoi Police Force also actively took numerous measures to improve the effectiveness of its various working fields, while firmly ensuring national security and social order in the Capital City, contributing to socio-political stability and preventing any strategic surprise in all circumstances.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc commended and congratulated the Hanoi City Police Department on its achievements and outstanding work results in 2025, saying that the local police had made an important contribution to the overall development of the city.

Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the Hanoi City Police Department should, based on its achievements and work results, play its exemplary and leading role in implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Party’s major guidelines and strategies and the Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Organization.

The Minister requested the department to decisively and synchronously deploy plans and measures to ensure absolute security and safety for the 14th National Party Congress, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the elections of People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, leaving no room for even the smallest lapse.

He also urged the capital’s police forces to firmly safeguard national security and build an orderly, disciplined, safe and healthy society, thereby creating a solid foundation for the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress.

Finally, Minister Luong Tam Quang called on the Hanoi City Police Department to extensively implement the emulation movement “Three Bests: Most Disciplined – Most Loyal – Closest to the People,” in a practical and effective manner.
