Hundreds of police officers join voluntary blood donation drive

The program was attended by Senior Colonel Nguyen Trung Kien, Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department and hundreds of local police officers along with representatives of the Ha Tinh Provincial Red Cross and the Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital.

This second drive of 2025 was organized to promptly meet the blood demand for treatment at hospitals and medical facilities, demonstrating the strong sense of social responsibility of young police officers towards the community.

With the message “A soldier’s blood drop – a warmth of love”, more than 350 police officers and enlistees participated in the program. 

During the event, they donated 265 blood units.

Together with the volume donated earlier this year, the total number of blood units donated by Ha Tinh police officers in 2025 has reached 457 blood units. 

The second blood donation drive has helped replenish nearly depleted blood reserves at Ha Tinh General Hospital, which is in high need for emergency treatment of patients.
