
Lao Cai police promptly rescue two South African tourists
On the afternoon of April 17, the Communal Police Station of Ban Ho commune, Lao Cai province successfully rescued two South African tourists who had had an accident while going sightseeing in Seo Trung Ho hamlet.

The injured tourists were Nathanael John and Rozelema Van Der Merwe of South African nationality.
Immediately after receiving a report on the accident at 1:30 p.m., the Ban Ho Communal Police Station, in coordination with the local security protection support force, quickly arrived at the scene and deployed rescue measures.
At the site, the female tourist was found in a panic, with injuries on her face and arm.
Despite the rugged mountainous terrain, the rescue team successfully reached the victims, promptly provided first aid and took them out of the dangerous area.
Both tourists were then driven to a local hospital for further treatment.
This timely assistance provided to the unfortunate tourists once again demonstrates the spirit of “wholeheartedly serving the people” of the Public Security Forces of Vietnam, leaving a positive impression on international friends.
