Lao MPS delegation visits Thanh Hoa Provincial Police

Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department Major General To Anh Dung hosted the visiting delegation.

During the visit, the Lao police delegation took a tour of the Public Administrative Service Center of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department, where they were introduced to various modern systems of public administrative services, including automatic queue registration systems, passport issuance procedures, procedures for handling of administrative violations, the vehicle registration process, administrative procedures for fire prevention and firefighting and rescue cases, procedures for issuance of criminal record certificates, and procedures for issuance of chip-based identification and electronic identification.

At the working session, the two sides exchanged experiences in areas of mutual interest with the aim of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative reform.

The discussion was conducted in a frank and open atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of close cooperation and friendship while contributing to enhancing mutual understanding, trust and cooperation between the Public Security Forces of the two countries.

Deputy Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Trinh Van Giang emphasized that administrative reform has been a central and continuous task that the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department has synchronously implemented for many years.

He added that the local police had been considered science, technology and digital transformation as key foundations to carry out administrative reform and reach the goals of improving the quality of public services for citizens and businesses.

For his part, Major General Kenchan Phommachak expressed sincere appreciation for the warm and thoughtful reception given by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department.

He highly appreciated the centralized, modern and transparent organization of administrative procedures at the Public Administrative Service Center of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department.

He stressed that the visit provided valuable experience for the Lao delegation, saying that they will advise the Lao Government and the leadership of the Lao Ministry of Public Security to apply their acquired knowledge and experience to the Lao administrative management.
