MPS delegation pays tribute to heroic martyrs in Quang Tri province

On the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the People’s Security Force (July 12, 1946–2026) and the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947–2026), a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung offered incense and flowers in tribute to heroic martyrs in Quang Tri province on July 27.

In a solemn and sacred atmosphere, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung and other members of the delegation offered incense and flowers in commemoration to heroic martyrs and youth volunteers at the Eight Youth Volunteers Cave Historical Site, the Truong Son National Martyrs’ Cemetery, th Road 9 National Martyrs’ Cemetery and the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Special National Historical Site.

Standing before the spirits of the heroic martyrs, the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense, and observed a moment of silence expressing their boundless gratitude to the nation’s outstanding sons and daughters who had courageously fought and sacrificed their lives for national liberation, reunification and the safeguarding of national security.

Paying homage to the nation’s roots and expressing gratitude to previous generations, the People’s Public Security Forces in general and the People’s Security Force in particular pledged to continue upholding their glorious heroic tradition, being absolutely loyal to the Party, the State and the people, constantly improving themselves, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, and excellently fulfilling their duties of safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety in the new situation.
