
MPS honors 20 outstanding young public security officers in 2025
The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held an art program titled “Pioneering Flame,” on the evening of March 19 at the Ho Guom Opera House in Hanoi, to mark the 15th anniversary of the “Outstanding Young Public Security Faces” Award, and to honor 20 outstanding young public security officers in 2025.

Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.
The event also saw the presence of Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Permanent Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Minh Triet.
Launched in 2009, the “Outstanding Young Public Security Faces” Award aims to promptly recognize the achievements and dedication of young officers, while motivating the youth of the Public Security Forces to strain themselves, make contributions and excel at work.
Over the past 15 years, the award has honored hundreds of outstanding young individuals in study, profession and scientific research, contributing to fostering exemplary models and promoting patriotic emulation movements across the forces.
The 20 young faces recognized in 2025 represent young public security officers in the new era, characterized by resilience, intelligence and an innovative spirit, being ready to undertake challenging and complex tasks while continuing the proud traditions of the Public Security Forces.
At the ceremony, Minister Luong Tam Quang and Permanent Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Central Committee Nguyen Minh Triet presented certificates and award emblems to the 20 honorees.
In his remarks, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated the significance and contribution of the award to the cause of safeguarding security and order and building the forces, while extending his congratulations to the honored individuals.
The Minister expressed his confidence that, in the new stage of national development, young public security officers will continue to overcome challenges, serve as exemplary role models and a “pioneering flame” inspiring dedication, learning and emulation, thereby achieving new accomplishments in all fields of work.
He also called on Party committees at all levels within the Public Security Forces, especially leaders of public security units and agencies, to pay greater attention to training and fostering young officers, properly assess their capabilities and qualities, and create favorable conditions for them to successfully fulfill their assigned tasks.
