The book-release event took place amidst a solemn and proud atmosphere celebrating the 81st Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2026) and the 21st Anniversary of the All-People Protecting National Security Festival (August 19, 2005 – August 19, 2026).
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organisation and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang chaired the ceremony.
The completion and launch of the book series on August 19 served as a profound tribute and comprehensive recognition from today's generation of Public Security officers and the ranks to revolutionary predecessors, late ministers and former ministers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the 81-year journey of construction, combat and growth of the People’s Public Security Forces bears the profound mark of the immense contributions made by individual Ministers and top leaders of the Vietnamese People's Public Security Forces throughout different historical periods.

Minister Luong Tam Quang presents books to former Minister Le Hong Anh and families of late Ministers.
Over the past 81 years, the revolutionary, regular, elite and modern People’s Public Security Forces have been built and developed. Vietnam now ranks among the top countries in the world in terms of security and safety, where citizens enjoy peaceful and happy lives. These achievements embody the dedication and contributions of generations of public security generals, officers, soldiers, and civilian employees, among whom successive leaders of the force played a role of special significance.
Evaluating the book series as a work of profound scientific and aesthetic value, Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed: “The entire People’s Public Security Forces pledge to follow the shining examples of our predecessor leaders, constantly promote our glorious heroic traditions, and continue building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern force that is absolutely loyal and dedicated under the principle: ‘As long as the Party exists, we exist.’”
To widely spread the values and content of the book series, the Minister requested Party committees, leaders, and commanders of public security units at all levels to pay close attention and adopt suitable measures to disseminate the books among officers and soldiers. He also encouraged research centers to utilize the series for studying and developing the theoretical foundations of public security work.
Every public security officer and soldier should learn from and mirror the exemplary conduct of successive Ministers, striving to cultivate revolutionary moral qualities, firm political resolve, and professional expertise to successfully accomplish all assigned duties.
