
MPS Web Portal introduces new interface
The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a ceremony to officially launch the new interface of its Web Portal and a new component page “Tradition and Achievements of the People's Public Security Forces” on the morning of August 7, in Hanoi.

The event is part of a series of activities in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the “All People Protecting National Security Festival” (August 19, 2005 – 2025).

Speaking at the event, Director General of the Governmental Portal Nguyen Hong Sam hailed the new interface of the MPS Web Portal as a modern, user-friendly and multi-platform website, meeting the requirements of the Ministry’s leadership for both technology and content, saying that it provides transparent and plentiful information accessible to the public on the one hand, and serves as a bridge connecting the people and businesses to the Public Security Forces on the other.
He expressed his hope that the MPS Web Portal will continue to serve as a reliable channel to inform the Ministry’s directions and policies on ensuring security and order, and safeguarding national security.
In his remarks, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To underscored that the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS have always attached great importance to the development of the MPS Web Portal as a principal, authoritative and reputable communication channel of the Ministry, the political system and the revolutionary press of Vietnam.
He also highlighted that the new component page showcasing the traditions and achievements of the Public Security Forces is designed to systematize and digitize the historical, political and cultural values of the Public Security Forces, serving as a repository to preserve and promote the heroic legacy made by generations of public security officers and enlistees.
It also aims to instill pride of the Public security Forces’ heroic tradition and great achievements into current officers and soldiers.
The event has created a big hallmark on the occasion of the major anniversaries of the forces and the country, he added.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested that public security units and agencies continue to strictly comply with Party, State and the MPS regulations on information publication and provision of online public services.
He further suggested that the MPS Web Portal bring into full play its role and strengths, improve the quality and effectiveness of its information and dissemination of guidelines, directives and policies of the Party, the State and the Ministry on national security and social order as well as on the building of truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces.
