Party General Secretary and State President: Public Security Forces being always absolutely loyal and devoted to the people

Party General Secretary and State President To Lam attended and delivered the keynote address.

The session was also attended and directed by Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Tran Cam Tu. 

Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang chaired the meeting.

At the session, Deputy Secretary of the Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung presented a comprehensive report detailing the committee's performance in the first half of 2026 and highlighted key task orientations for the remainder of the year. Members of the Standing Board and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) also delivered key reports focusing on national security protection and social order.

In their directives, General Secretary and State President To Lam, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and Prime Minister Le Minh Hung highly commended the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS for their achievements in recent times. The top leaders emphasized that the overall accomplishments of the nation's political system have been driven in large part by the vital contributions of the People’s Public Security Forces.

Concurring with the assessments of the National Assembly Chairman and the Prime Minister, General Secretary and State President To Lam highlighted that the Public Security Forces have clearly demonstrated their absolute loyalty to the Party and wholehearted devotion to the people. He praised the forces for serving as an exemplary model in implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and major strategic Party policies, successfully translating them into concrete, impactful actions.

Regarding core tasks for the second half of the year, General Secretary and State President To Lam stressed that the forces must resolutely safeguard national security in line with the Party's evolving strategic thinking. This involves broadening the scope of security protection, enhancing operational capacity, and firmly maintaining security under all circumstances. He also urged the forces to continue playing an active advisory role in building an orderly, disciplined, safe, civilized, harmonious, and developed society.

Furthermore, the General Secretary and State President called on the Public Security Forces to maintain their pioneering role in implementing the Politburo's Resolution No. 57, which targets breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation. Finally, he directed the forces to focus heavily on the "Three Best" emulation movement, ensuring the continuous development of a regular, elite, and modern force capable of fulfilling all modern missions.
