Phu Tho police return lost property to foreign tourist

The Mai Chau Communal Police Station under the Phu Tho Provincial Police Department recently returned lost property to a foreign tourist, leaving a positive impression of the locality on foreign visitors.

Earlier, the Mai Chau Communal Police Station received a mobile phone that had been picked up and voluntarily handed over to the police by Ms. Dinh Thi Van, a resident of Chieng Sai residential area.

Immediately after that, the communal police conducted verification procedures to identify the rightful owner of the lost property.

Through the verification process, the police determined that the phone belonged to Mr. Regnauld Charles, a French national, who had lost it while traveling in the area.

The Mai Chau Communal Police Station then contacted Mr. Regnauld Charles and asked him to come to the police station to get back his lost property, in accordance with the legal regulations.

Upon receiving his belongings, Mr. Regnauld Charles expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the police officers and the local resident who had taken the lost item to the police.

The return of lost property, especially to a foreign visitor, contributes to promoting the image of the locality as a safe, friendly and trustworthy destination for foreign tourists.
