Police offer free medical check-ups to disadvantaged people in An Giang province
The An Giang Provincial Police Department, in coordination with the People’s Police University, the My Hoa Hung Communal People’s Committee and other benefactors, organized a series of social activities to support disadvantaged people in the locality on September 6, 2025.

The activities included offering free medical check-ups and medicines to local residents, as well as disseminating knowledge and skills to help the public prevent online scams.
Accordingly, delegates provided free health examinations, medical consultations, medicines and gifts to 300 residents of the commune. They also presented 50 gifts to disadvantaged students and launched a public communication program on knowledge and skills to prevent online fraud.
The program aimed to raise awareness and equip students and local people with self-protection skills against increasingly sophisticated online scams, while reflecting the spirit of solidarity and compassion of the Public Security Forces for the community and showing their care for policy beneficiary families, poor households and disadvantaged students.
On the same morning, the delegation also offered flowers and incense in commemoration of President Ton Duc Thang, expressing profound gratitude for his immense contributions to the revolutionary cause of the nation.
