Seven leaders of Ministry of Public Security elected to 14th Party Central Committee

Among them, seven leaders of the Ministry of Public Security were elected to the 14th Party Central Committee.

On January 22, the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam voted candidates to the 14th Party Central Committee, and 200 were elected, including 180 full members and 20 alternate members. 

The 14th National Party Congress then conducted the voting process, announced the results, and approved the list of those elected to the 14th Party Central Committee.

The seven leaders of the Ministry of Public Security were reelected or newly elected to the 14th Party Central Committee are:

1. General Luong Tam Quang – Member of the 13th Politburo, Member of the Standing Board of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Minister of Public Security.

2. Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung – Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

3. Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen – Member of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

4. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long – Member of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

5. Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung – Member of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

6. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam – Member of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

7. Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc – Member of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
