Thanh Hoa Police return lost property to foreign citizen

After a quick inspection, the police found clothes, a mobile phone and several important documents, including a passport and personal identification papers bearing the name Zhai Xiaofei (born in 1987, China nationality), inside the suitcase.

Recognizing the significance of the property, especially the personal documents of a foreign national, the Dong Quang Ward Police Station promptly coordinated with the Immigration Management Division of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department to look for the owner of the belongings based on the identity documents.

With their sense of responsibility, the police successfully identified and contacted the owner of the property.

On the morning of April 23, at the headquarters of the Dong Quang Ward Police Station, Mr. Zhai Xiaofei expressed his appreciation to the local police for returning all his lost belongings and documents to him.

The local police gesture contributes to promoting the positive image of public security officers as those who are always dedicated, responsible and truly committed to “serving the people.”
