Youth and women’s organizations of Vietnamese and Lao MPS Offices strengthen exchanges

Attending the working session were Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam Senior Colonel Mai Xuan Thao, and Major General Sengthong Keuabounlam, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Laos.

Speaking at the session, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan affirmed that the Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam always proactively and actively implements the strategic orientations and common perceptions reached by high-level leaders of the two Parties, States and Ministries.

The Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam emphasized that maintaining effective cooperation between the two ministerial offices over past years has further tightened the special Viet Nam – Laos solidarity, while consolidating strategic closeness and mutual trust between the two countries’ Public Security Forces. Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan also wished the Lao Youth Union and Women’s Union delegation a highly successful working visit that yields practical ideas for bilateral cooperation.

Within the framework of the joint program, the Youth Union and Women’s Union chapters of the two ministerial agencies organized a thematic seminar titled "Promoting the Pioneering Role of Youth and Women of the Offices of the two Ministries of Public Security in Advising on Digital Transformation and the Application of Science and Technology." The seminar served as an important forum for both units to exchange experiences and enhance their strategic advisory capabilities, thereby concretizing the spirit of cooperation between the two countries’ Public Security Forces in the digital era.

At the seminar, representatives from both sides presented two core papers delving into practical work in each country, namely: "Youth and Women of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam Taking the Lead in Strategic Advice on Digital Transformation and Science-Technology Application", and "The Role of Youth and Women of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Laos in Advising on Digital Transformation and Science-Technology Application."

Through frank and open exchanges, the seminar clarified various theoretical and practical issues in strategic advisory work during digital transformation, while further cementing the close and unbreakable solidarity between the two units.

Speaking at the working session, Senior Colonel Mai Xuan Thao acknowledged and highly appreciated the two dedicated, high-quality papers presented by representatives of the two units, noting that they demonstrated deep professional insight, a pioneering spirit in digital transformation, and concrete, practical solutions to deepen future cooperation.

The Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam requested that youth and women officers of the two ministerial agencies continue to proactively innovate working methods; uphold initiative, responsibility, order, and discipline; focus on providing strategic advice regarding science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and modern office governance; step up experience-sharing and technological capacity building; and ceaselessly nurture the special Viet Nam – Laos solidarity so that it remains forever green and eternally sustainable.
