MPS, National Security Council of Mongolia speak highly of bilateral cooperation

MPS - Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS) on January 15 received a high-ranking delegation of the Mongolian National Security Council (NSC) led by Mr. Davaanyam Da Vaa-ochir, Chief of the Executive Office of the Council.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc stressed that the traditional ties between Vietnam and Mongolia have been consolidating and developing in various fields such as national defense, agriculture, culture and education. On that basis, the cooperation between the MPS and the law enforcement agencies of Mongolia in general, and between the MPS and NSC in particular gained positive results in various fields of cooperation.

The deputy minister also suggested that the two sides, in the coming time, should continue to exchange information and share experience in the fight against crime, promote cooperation in capacity building for officers and delegation exchange, and ensuring security and safety for delegations of one country visiting the other.

Thanking Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc for his reception, Mr. Davaanyam Da Vaa-ochir affirmed that the government and people of Mongolia always attach great importance to developing relations with Vietnam and appreciate Vietnam's position and role in the region.

The cooperation between the MPS and NSC has been increasingly strengthened in a practical and effective manner over the past time, meeting needs for bilateral cooperation of sides, the Chief Executive Office added.
