Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc inspects Hanoi Traffic Police

MPS - Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on January 18 inspected the combat readiness of the Traffic Police Office under the Hanoi Municipal Police Department and extended New Year wishes to officers and soldiers of the unit on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2020.

The Hanoi Traffic Police Office gained numerous excellent achievements in 2019.

Regarding its tasks in the coming time, the Hanoi traffic police force attaches great importance to ensuring traffic order and safety during the 2020 Lunar New Year festival. It will continue to mobilize all traffic police officers to patrol and handle traffic law violations, especially violations of the drink-driving regulations articulated in the Government's Decree 100/2019/ND-CP.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc praised the achievements of the Hanoi Traffic Police Office in 2019 as well as initial results in implementing the Government’s Decree 100, contributing to reducing traffic accidents in the city.

The Deputy Minister suggested the traffic police forces in general and the Hanoi traffic police force in particular to take preventive measures to ensure traffic order and safety during the Lunar New Year festival and other Spring festivals, as well as to avoid serious traffic congestions and accidents.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc wished leaders, officers and soldiers of the Hanoi Traffic Police Office a happy and successful Lunar New Year.
