Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with Mai Chau district police

MPS - Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son on the afternoon of May 9 led a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to work with the police of Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province.

According to a report delivered by Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Minh, Head of the District Police Station, in the first half of 2018, the unit actively grasped the situations and offered consultancy to the local Party committees and authorities on various policies and solutions to the maintenance of local security and order, avoiding unexpected situations. The district’s police also focused on cracking down on criminal activities while increasing the rate of successful investigation. While the district’s police continued expanding the movement of “All people protecting national security”, they made positive changes in the State management of security and order.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son recognized and praised the achievements gained by the Mai Chau Police and expressed his empathy for the difficulties facing the police officers and soldiers in the past time.

He also emphasized that the local situation of crimes and social evils still remains complex, which requires more efforts from the district’s police in the coming time.

Deputy Minister Son asked the Mai Chau District Police to pay more attention to posting officers, to positions of commune police in charge of security and order, and building a reconnaissance force. He also asked the Provincial Police of Hoa Binh to give priority to sufficient staffing of the district police, and standardizing the commune police.
