July, 16 2021
MPS - The Ministry of Public Security, in collaboration with Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology and Bach Mai Hospital, held an online conference to train public security medical staff in knowledge of various COVID vaccines and skills in vaccinating them.

The trainers provide knowledge and skills in vaccination against COVID-19 to the public security medical staff.

In order to proactively prevent and control the pandemic by vaccinating exposed groups first and later the community, Vietnam has approved the largest national vaccination campaign in history with a goal of over 70% of the population vaccinated against COVID-19 between July 2021 and April 2022.

The campaign mobilizes the entire political system to participate in the vaccination campaign. The health sector, including the public security medical force, plays an important role in the campaign.

In fact,  the public security medical workers vaccinate not only public security officers and soldiers, but also civilians upon request.

Trainees discuss related knowledge at the training.

The training course provided public security medical staff with knowledge and skills in injecting new COVID vaccines such as Pfizer, Moderna, Sputnik V, and Sinopharm. The medical workers with the acquired knowledge and skills can safely vaccinate officers and soldiers in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health.
