Free nutritious porridge offered to needy patients
MPS - The Women’s Union chapter of the Thai Binh Provincial Police Department, on April 6, organized a charity program to provide free nutritious porridge for hundreds of patients at Thai Binh Children’s Hospital.
In order to help poor patients at Thai Binh Children’s Hospital, the Women’s Union chapter of the Thai Binh Provicial Police Department, in association with Thai Binh Children’s Hospital, started a charity program named “Charitable porridge pot” from April 2019. Every Saturday, policewomen of the Thai Binh Police Department provide up to 250 bowls of porridge for hundreds of patients who are in need.
A porridge bowl is insignificant in value but conveys affection, sympathy, and encouragement of the policewomen to children who are struggling with diseases. This activity has left a beautiful image of the police officers to the people.
