The Police Office of Administrative Management of Social Order under the Municipal Police Department granted ID cards to local elderly or sick people. The Traffic Police Office also held a meeting to disseminate the traffic law for locals, train skills to avoid drowning and presented 200 life jackets to households living along rivers and coastal areas.
Officers of the Municipal Police Department also called on Hung Thinh company to support Tran Thi Cam Le (resident of Binh My village, Binh Chanh commune), a very poor local family, to build a new house.
The charitable team also donated 2 bicycles and 50 presents to students of Binh Khanh Secondary School.
Members of the Women’s Union chapter on the same day planted 100 trees in the commune, an effort to raise local people’s awareness of environmental protection. They also coordinated with doctors of the HCMC University Medical Center to offer free health check-ups to 150 people and present 50 gifts to former revolutionary contributors in the area.
The cost of all charitable activities, which was up to VND 230 million, came from various donors and police officers and soldiers.
