MPS - On knowing a 6-year-old H'Mong boy in Ha Giang province suffering from a strange eye disease, Public Security Minister General To Lam directed the Hospital 19/8 under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to immediately contact his parents and transport him to Hanoi for treatment.

The child patient is Sung Mi Dia, living in Sang Tung commune (Dong Van district, Ha Giang province). His family is one of the poor ethnic minority families in the locality. As Sung Mi Dia’s parents have not been able to pay for his hospitalization, the boy has had to suffer from the eye soreness for years.
