Police and military forces join hands to clean Hue Citadel
MPS - In response to the movement “Green Sunday”, on June 21, the Hue Municipal People’s Committee mobilized nearly 1,000 people, including police officers and soldiers, Youth Union members and students to clean up the Hue Citadel area.
Within a day, the police officers and soldiers based in Hue City together with officers and soldiers from the Military Command of Thua Thue Hue Province and other forces have cleaned up Thuong Thanh place. The site had been in mess after 300 households living there had been relocated to the Huong So resettlement area.
The young officers also collected and classified wastes to properly carry them to the disposal sites, contributing to improving the natural environment and landscape of the relics.
