
2025 World Police Music Festival takes place in Vietnam
The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2025 World Police Music Festival on the morning of August 9, 2025, at the Hoan Kiem Pedestrian Zone in Hanoi.

Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang attended the event.
The event also saw the presence of Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan; Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Head of the Organizing Committee for the 2025 World Police Music Festival in Vietnam Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To; Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc; and Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy Nguyen Anh Tuan.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives from central ministries, agencies and Hanoi city authorities; representatives from foreign embassies; and 10 brass bands from Russia, Japan, China, Laos, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To stated that the 2025 World Police Music Festival in Vietnam is an important cultural and artistic exchange, contributing to enhancing insights of international friends on the country, people and development of Vietnam as well as mutual understanding between the Vietnamese Public Security Forces and the participating law enforcement forces from other countries.




He stated that the music festival also helps promote the image of Vietnam in the region and the world, and reaffirm Vietnam’s consistent policy of being a friend, a reliable partner and a responsible member of the international community.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To stated that the festival not only provides impressive artistic performances but also gives international visitors and the Vietnamese people an insight into the law enforcement forces of countries, which are dedicated to safeguarding peace, maintaining security and order, and ensuring a peaceful and happy life for people.
After the opening ceremony, audiences enjoyed vibrant performances by brass bands from the Vietnam Public Security Forces, the Vietnam People’s Army and international police as well as fleets of specialized automobile of the Security Guard Force and Traffic Police Force, and a cavalcade of the Mobile Police Force.
