The event was attended by Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang; Member of the Politburo and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Tran Duc Thang; and Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and Head of the MPS Security Investigation Agency Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung.
Also in attendance were former Politburo members, current and former members of the Party Central Committee, representatives from central agencies, ministries, departments and sectors, former leaders of the MPS, and members of the Public Security Central Party Committee. They were joined by representatives of functional units under the MPS, the Hanoi Party Committee, and the Hanoi People's Committee, alongside a large crowd of local residents, officers, soldiers, and Youth Union members.
The gala in the capital city of Hanoi, themed "The Flow," was staged as an artistic epic dedicated to the People's Security Force right at the historical birthplace of their tradition. The program seamlessly blended unique art forms with documentary reportage, using the imagery of water currents as a continuous emotional thread—a metaphor for the qualities of security officers who remain unseen beneath the glory yet are always present on the most arduous fronts.
During the program, Minister Luong Tam Quang and Deputy Minister Pham The Tung presented bouquets of flowers to former leaders and generals of the People's Security Force, expressing deep gratitude for their immense, silent contributions over the past 80 years.
The gala took the audience through three artistic chapters, each representing a distinct emotional current in the 80-year journey of the force:
Chapter I - "Initiating the Flow": Transported the audience back to the Hanoi of 1946 through theater and staging, recreating the historic On Nhu Hau Case No. 7, the pivotal moment when the young security force cleverly smashed a counter-revolutionary plot, marking the beginning of a glorious 80-year history.
Chapter II - "Underground Current": Offered a moment of reflection on the silent sacrifices made by generations of People's Security officers on all fronts, highlighting their flesh-and-blood bond with the people to protect the peace of the Fatherland.
Chapter III - "The Great Flow": Demonstrated an innovative mindset and steadfast adherence to goals while inheriting the glorious 80-year tradition. It affirmed the strategic direction of proactive security in the new era, while honoring outstanding Heroes of the People's Armed Forces through different periods.

Spectacular performances at the gala.
Through an evocative and emotional artistic narrative, the gala conveyed a powerful message: peace is not a given; it is the hard-won fruit of loyalty, intellect, bravery, and the silent sacrifices of generations of People's Security officers, those who chose to put the Fatherland above themselves to firmly maintain the bedrock of the people's trust and safeguard the intact independence and freedom of the nation.
