Through community engagement, the Kien Lao communal police learned about the difficult situation of Mr. Bui Van Yeu (born in 1990, residing in Khuon Than hamlet, Kien Lao commune), whose family is listed among the most disadvantaged households in the locality.
Both he and his wife suffer from poor health, have unstable incomes and are raising six children, making their living conditions extremely challenging.

On the occasion of the new school year, the Kien Lao Communal Police Station, together with local benefactors, presented two bicycles to Mr. Yeu’s children to provide them with a means of transportation to school.
It was also noted that the family’s kitchen roof had been badly damaged by Typhoon No. 5, further complicating their daily life.
On the morning of September 21, members of the Youth Union chapter of the Kien Lao Communal Police Station joined the Kien Lao Communal Youth Union and benefactors to help Mr. Yeu repair the damaged kitchen.
These meaningful activities not only demonstrate the strong sense of social responsibility of the young communal police officers but also provide them with valuable opportunities to reaffirm their dedication to the motto “Serving the people.”
