Citizens return lost property to rightful foreign owner in Da Nang

As soon as they found the large sum of money, the two citizens immediately reported it and handed the bag over to the An Hai Communal Police Station.

After their careful verification, the police identified the owner as Mr. Soon Chul Kwon, a South Korean tourist staying at 151 Ho Nghinh Street, Da Nang city.

On August 31, in the presence of the communal police, Mr. Tuyen and Mr. Tinh returned the bag directly to Mr. Soon Chul Kwon.

Deeply moved, Mr. Kwon expressed his sincere gratitude to the two Vietnamese citizens for their honesty as well as the local police for their sense of responsibility. He shared that the case would become his good memorable experience during his trip to Da Nang. He added that he was impressed with the kindness and hospitality of the people of Da Nang in particular and of Vietnam in general.

Indeed, the good deed of Mr. Le Van Tuyen and Mr. Mai Van Tinh has contributed to beautifying the image of the friendly and compassionate Vietnamese people in the eyes of international friends.
