Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long holds May 2026 citizen meeting

The meeting was also attended by Inspector General of MPS Lieutenant General Bui Quang Thanh and Deputy Inspector General of MPS Senior Colonel Phan Thi Loan.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long listened to citizens briefing on their petitions that they had submitted to relevant state agencies but had neither received the reply nor satisfactory answers.

Showing his empathy for citizens, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long scanned their papers and requested the MPS Inspectorate to receive and summarize all the cases related to the MPS as well as public security units and agencies.

The inspection agency will then send leaders of the involved public security units and agencies official requests to handle the cases in accordance with legal regulations.

For complaints and denunciations beyond the MPS jurisdiction and responsibility, citizens were guided to submit their petitions to the appropriate authorities.
