The two ministers shared the view that security and law enforcement cooperation continues to serve as a vital pillar, helping elevate the Vietnam–China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership to new heights.

Notably, both sides have coordinated closely to maintain political stability, combat transnational crime, ensure absolute security and safety for high-level visits, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of their citizens residing or working in the other country, guided by the strategic direction of "six gains" agreed upon by Party General Secretary and State President To Lam and Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping.

Overview of the talks.

This visit to China served as a concrete step toward realizing bilateral cooperation orientations as the outcomes of General Secretary and State President To Lam's State visit to China in April 2026, as well as the common understandings reached between Minister Luong Tam Quang and Chinese Minister Wang Xiaohong at the 9th Ministerial Conference on Crime Prevention and Control Cooperation in March 2026.

To further promote cooperation in line with the Vietnam–China Joint Statement of April 2026, the two sides agreed to effectively implement high-level common understandings on deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership. They will focus on stepping up information exchanges and enhancing joint efforts to combat both traditional and non-traditional crimes, thereby contributing to safeguarding peaceful, happy lives for the peoples of both nations.
