Minister Luong Tam Quang receives outgoing Israeli Ambassador

At the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulated Ambassador Yaron Mayer on his successful tenure in the country and highly appreciated his contributions to promoting cooperation between the two countries as well as between the Ministry of Public Security and Israeli law enforcement agencies.

The Minister noted that, during Ambassador Yaron Mayer’s tenure, the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Israel continued to witness positive developments.

He highlighted that, in the fields of security and law enforcement, the two sides effectively maintained coordination mechanisms and information exchange to verify and handle criminal cases involving citizens and organizations of each country.

The host revealed that, through the cooperation mechanism with the Israeli Police Attaché for East Asia, the two sides have promptly exchanged information to effectively address security-related incidents and potential threats, while also sharing experience and conducting training programs in cybersecurity and the prevention and combat of high-tech crime.

Minister Luong Tam Quang proposed that, in the coming time, the two sides continue to strengthen exchanges of delegations at all levels, enhance information sharing and promote cooperation in combating transnational crime and emerging forms of crime.

For his part, Ambassador Yaron Mayer expressed his appreciation to Minister Luong Tam Quang and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam for their support and effective cooperation throughout his tenure in Vietnam.

He also spoke highly of Vietnam’s stable and secure environment as well as the increasingly substantive cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries and expressed his hope that both sides would continue to maintain information exchange and further strengthen effective cooperation in the future.

The Ambassador affirmed that he would continue to support and promote cooperation between Israel and Vietnam in areas of mutual interest, contributing to the friendship and prosperity of both nations.
