MPS builds kindergarten in Lang Son province

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc chaired the ceremony.

Currently, the existing kindergarten in the Hoang Van Thu border commune, built in 2006, has limited space and consists of two deteriorating single-storey classroom blocks. It lacks essential facilities such as a physical education room, library and playground, negatively affecting the care, nurturing and education of 158 children currently studying at the school. Furthermore, the school is expected to take care of 300–350 children in the 2030–2035 period.

Having known the urgent need for a new school, the Lang Son Provincial Police reported the case to the Minister of Public Security to direct the relevant agencies to fund for the project to build a new school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc emphasized that the project carries profound significance, demonstrating the concern and care of the Party, the State and the MPS for education, particularly in remote, border and disadvantaged areas.

He noted that the construction of Hoang Van Thu Kindergarten will not only improve the quality of childcare and education, but also contribute to stabilizing local livelihoods, ensuring social welfare and maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.

The Deputy Minister underscored that the project is not only an educational facility but also a testament to the spirit of serving the people of the Public Security Forces, contributing to social security and sustainable development.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc presented gifts from Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang to the school and handed over the funding for the school re-construction to the teachers.

On this occasion, the MPS also presented practical gifts to disadvantaged students, policy beneficiary families and people with meritorious services in Hoang Van Thu commune.
