Gia Binh International Airport is a national key project, which has a specially important position in the overall national airport master plan.

As a strategic dual-use airport for the Capital Region, the facility will expand development space for Bac Ninh and other northern provinces, helping them become a new driving force for economic growth.

In addition to its civil aviation, Gia Binh International Airport will also be the base of the People’s Public Security Air Regiment, equipped with modern aircraft to ensure permanent combat readiness, contributing to enhancing national defense and security capabilities.
