MPS holds ministerial-level workshop on project to build an orderly, disciplined, safe, healthy, civilized, harmonious and developed society

Under the authority of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Chief of the Ministry Office Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan chaired a scientific workshop on the draft project to build an orderly, disciplined, safe, healthy, civilized, harmonious and developed society on the afternoon of May 7 in Hanoi.

Speaking at the workshop, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan requested experts and scientists to provide comments on the draft project and propose amendments and supplemented to it so that the drafting group can make refinements before submitting it to the 14th Party Central Committee at its 3rd Plenum. He asked delegates to focus on such particular contents of the draft project as  viewpoints, objectives, tasks, solutions, coordination mechanisms, implementation conditions and the implementation roadmap.

At the workshop, experts and scientists highly appreciated the quality of the draft project.

They also gave opinions on several key issues, including the scope, objectives and the theoretical, political, legal and practical foundations of the project.

Participants further clarified the connotations, structure and criteria for an orderly, disciplined, safe, healthy, civilized, harmonious and developed society, assessed emerging practical issues in the context of accelerating digital transformation, urbanization and social stratification, as well as the requirement for the innovation of modern social governance methods, and finaly proposed feasible solutions to help finalize the draft project.

Concluding the workshop, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan requested the drafting group to seriously study the opinions of delegates, experts and scientists, especially those regarding the project’s connotations, criteria, viewpoints, objectives, tasks and solutions, in order to further improve the draft project.
