
MPS rebuilds kindergarten in Cao Bang province
The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the authorities of Cao Bang province co-hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on the afternoon of September 3, 2025, for the reconstruction of Soc Ha Kindergarten in Truong Ha commune.

The project is part of the Public Security Forces’ program to implement the Politburo’s Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on creating breakthroughs in education and training development.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung; Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People’s Committee Le Hai Hoa; and Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Vu Dinh Quang.

Soc Ha Kindergarten, with 18 teachers and staff members, is currently nurturing about 160 children, and the number is expected to increase to 200 in the coming school year.
However, the school has seriously deteriorated, lacking classrooms, functional rooms and playgrounds, which has badly affected the care and education of the local children.
With the MPS’s funding of about 20 billion, the new kindergarten will have eight classrooms, two specialized rooms and additional facilities such as an administrative block, a mess, outdoor playgrounds and other function rooms. which will meet the national standards.
The project will be built on an area of more than 7,500 square meters, which used to be the headquarters of the People’s Committee of former Soc Ha commune (now Truong Ha commune).

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung emphasized that, in line with the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, the MPS had decided to fund the construction of a new national-standard kindergarten of Soc Ha that meets the needs for the care and education of local children, contributing to providing a safe, modern, comprehensive and humane learning environment for children.
The project is expected to be inaugurated on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s return to the Fatherland to lead the Vietnamese revolution (January 28, 1941 – 2026) and the 65th anniversary of his visit to Cao Bang (February 21, 1961 – 2026).

Delegates presents gifts to policy beneficiary families.
At the ceremony, delegates pressed the button to launch the groundbreaking in the spirit of joy of all local students, teachers and residents.
On this occasion, the MPS presented 10 gifts to local policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors, as well as 20 gifts to poor and near-poor households in Truong Ha commune.
Delegates also presented 10 computers, school bags and learning materials to Soc Ha Kindergarten students, along with 20 televisions, 5,000 books and school supplies to the Cao Bang Provincial Department of Education and Training, which will then allocate them to schools in the province’s border areas.
