Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department rolls out tasks for 2026

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee Dang Xuan Phong also attended the meeting.

In 2025, the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department seriously and effectively implemented key tasks, breakthrough solutions and professional measures to ensure public order and security in the province, making practical contributions to the province’s socio-economic development as well as to safeguarding a peaceful and happy life for the people.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong commended and congratulated the Ninh Binh Police Force on the achievements attained in 2025.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party’s guidelines as well as the State’s policies and laws on ensuring security and order, and proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee and authorities at all levels on policies for the new context and expanded development space of Ninh Binh province.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To stressed that the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department should closely associate Party building with force building, in line with the Politburo’s Resolution No. 12 on building clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces. This must be seen as a core overarching long-term task.

Regarding public security work, the Deputy Minister required the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department to effectively perform its function as an advisory agency, providing its higher-level authorities with accurate, targeted, sharp, timely and strategic advice.

Regarding its State management of security and order, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested the police department to attach greater importance to the application of science and technology, digital transformation, digital data and shared data.

In the immediate term, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department to proactively ensure security and order before, during and after the Lunar New Year of 2026, attaching much importance to protecting internal security, strengthening State management of security and order, maintaining traffic safety, intensifying prevention of illegal fireworks, fires and explosions, paying due attention to the management of the residency of foreigners, the management of conditional business lines, and suppressing the types of crime that tend to increase during the Tet holiday period.
