Police launch crime prevention education program in Ninh Binh province

The Criminal Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Criminal Police Division of the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department and Tran Van Bao High School, organized a crime prevention education program for more than 1,000 teachers, students and parents at Tran Van Bao High School, Hong Quang Ward, Ninh Binh province, on September 21, 2025.

At the event, representatives of the Criminal Police Department provided updates on the criminal situation, with a particular focus on crimes and law violations involving individuals under 18 years old.

Key issues highlighted included the use of e-cigarettes among students and its consequences, school violence, child sexual abuse, as well as skills to identify risks and warning signs of sexual abuse and appropriate responses.

Online fraud schemes and safe, positive use of the internet and social media were also discussed.

Students and parents were further briefed on the age of criminal responsibility under the 2015 Penal Code, amended and supplemented in 2017.

The program featured interactive activities such as legal knowledge quizzes and situational exercises on school violence and child sexual abuse, with small gifts presented to those who answered correctly.

The lively atmosphere encouraged many students to raise questions, share opinions and express their determination to spread knowledge and raise awareness within their families and communities.

The program contributed to equipping students with essential knowledge and skills to resist temptations, build a healthy lifestyle and foster a sense of responsibility.
