Public Security Central Party Committee reviews Party work in 2025

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates consented that, thanks to the sound leadership of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat as well as the close coordination of ministries, agencies and localities, the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership and Party committees at all levels within the Public Security Forces successfully fulfilled all assigned political tasks and achieved numerous significant, mission-defining results in 2025.

For 2026, the Public Security Central Party Committee determined the action motto for the entire Public Security Forces as: “Following Uncle Ho’s teachings – Renewing mindset, Improving knowledge – Being Professionalized, Modernized – Being Devoted to the Party, the People.”

Under this motto, Party committees and leaders of public security agencies and units at all levels will thoroughly implement 03 groups of goals, 16 key specific targets, 09 groups of tasks and 03 breakthrough solutions.

During the meeting, delegates proposed various approaches to further strengthen the Public Security Central Party Organization as a truly pure and strong Party organization, while mobilizing the synergy of the entire political system and the people in safeguarding security and order.

In his concluding remarks, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and acclaimed the achievements of the Public Security Central Party Organization and its affiliated Party organizations in 2025.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Minister requested all subordinate Party organizations of the Public Security Central Party Organization to drastically implement the targets, tasks and solutions set out in the Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Organization.

He required the Public Security Central Party Committee to further innovate its leadership methods and strengthen its supervision over affiliated Party organizations by conducting regular Party inspection.

The Minister urged the entire committee to enhance its leadership over its subordinate Party organizations so as all Party organizations in the Public Security Forces can excellently fulfill the tasks of safeguarding national security, maintaining social order and safety and building the Public Security Forces as outlined in the Resolution on Security Protection Tasks for 2026.

Minister Luong Tam Quang stressed that the Public Security Central Party Committee should lead the Public Security Forces to mobilize all efforts to ensure absolute security and safety for the 14th National Party Congress and the elections of the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2026–2031 term.
