At the session, PSSA leaders welcomed the IVLEA delegation and expressed their desire to further strengthen practical and effective cooperation in the coming period.
Accordingly, the association proposed that IVLEA coordinate with Vietnamese partners in organizing the 2026 ASEAN Friendship Golf Open Tournament, expected to be held in Phan Thiet, and support the sports delegation of the Public Security Forces while participating in the 2026 Australasian Police and Emergency Services Games (APES Games), scheduled for October 2026 in Australia.
The 2026 ASEAN Friendship Golf Open Tournament is seen as a highlight of the “Sports Festival 2026” series, aiming to create a healthy sporting environment while strengthening exchanges, solidarity and cooperation among law enforcement forces in the region and the world.
Building on the success of the previous editions, the tournament is expected to expand in scale, attracting participation from law enforcement agencies across ASEAN as well as representatives from other countries and international organizations.
Through the event, the organizers expect to further consolidate solidarity, enhance mutual understanding among law enforcement forces, and promote the image of Vietnam among international friends.
Earlier, within the framework of activities marking IVLEA’s 30th founding anniversary, the PSSA, in coordination with relevant units, organized various sports exchange activities, notably a friendly football match between a team from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department and the IVLEA team.
