The department’s summary report highlighted that the Department of Foreign Relations had promoted the “For National Security” emulation movement in a methodical and wide-reaching manner.

Thanks to its efforts, the emulation movement was significantly renovated in both content and form to better meet the practical requirements of the department’s work, contributing to promoting the foreign relations and international integration of the Public Security Forces.
The positive work results also made large contributions to realizing the security and foreign policies of the Party and the State; as a result, the sector has been highly appreciated by the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security leadership.
For its outstanding accomplishments from 2020 to 2025, the Department of Foreign Relations was awarded the Third-class Fatherland Protection Order, a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister and the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Public Security in 2020, 2021 and 2023.

Furthermore, a number of its subordinate units and officers were also honored with Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Public Security.
Addressing the meeting, Director of the Department of Foreign Relations Lieutenant General Dang Xuan Hong hailed the outstanding achievements of the department’s subordinate units and officers in the 2020–2025 emulation period.
To further the emulation movement in a practical and effective manner, the Director called on all officers and enlistees to strongly renew their thinking on international cooperation and foreign affairs, as well as proactively grasp the global and regional situation and carry out foreign relations activities in a synchronous manner to open new channels for cooperation and information exchange between the Public Security Forces and their partners.
Additionally, the Director stressed the need to take advantage of support in science, technology and training from international partners to assist the Public Security Forces in developing core technologies, accelerating digital transformation and green transition, contributing to bridging development gaps between the Public Security Forces and their counterparts.

He also emphasized the importance of renovating the content and form of the emulation movement for more practical results and efficiency, couple the movement with other emulation campaigns launched by the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Public Security in accordance with the unit’s tasks and functions.
In addition, units and agencies under the department should actively build and replicate typical exemplary groups and officers, and promote models of good people and good deeds within the department.
On this occasion, the Department of Foreign Relations recognized one division and seven officers as typical examples in the “For National Security” emulation movement for the 2020–2025 period.
