The meeting saw the presence of Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Permanent Deputy Head of the Working Group, members of the working group, and representatives from relevant units and agencies under the Ministry of Public Security.

According to reports at the meeting, over the past time, ministries and sectors effectively performed their advisory role to the Government, resulting in the submission of one resolution to the National Assembly and the issuance of 11 decrees by the Government.
Reports also highlighted that, as of the end of April 2025, 3,241 out of 15,763 business-related regulations in 275 legal documents had been cut off while tax revenue from e-commerce has increased significantly.
So far, 113 million customer records have been verified as their biometric data have exactly matched their chip-based ID cards and the VNeID application.

Regarding digital citizenship development, the Ministry of Public Security has issued 87 million chip-based ID cards and, 17.1 million new patterns of the chip-based ID card, and processed over 87.1 million electronic identification profiles for citizens, along with over 300,000 identification profiles for agencies and organizations.
Additionally, over 15,000 DNA samples from martyrs’ relatives have been collected by functional agencies.
At the meeting, under the moderation of Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long, delegates reported on the implementation of Project 06 at their respective agencies and proposed various approaches to further enhance the effectiveness of Project 06, administrative reform and digital transformation in the coming period.

Concluding the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and highly praised ministries, branches and localities for their strong determination and effective leadership in implementing the project over the past time.
To ensure effective implementation of the project in the coming time, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that all members of the Working Group should promptly implement their assigned tasks and direct the involved agencies and officers to draw up roadmaps for overdue assignments and for tasks with deadlines of the end of 2025.
Regarding institutional improvement, the Minister urged the Government’s Office to coordinate with ministries and agencies to accelerate the issuance of decrees related to administrative procedures, databases and electronic transactions, ensuring that they take will effect in June and July 2025.

For the group of tasks regarding administrative procedures and online public services, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested the Government’s Office to guide ministries, sectors and localities to review and publish lists of administrative procedures eligible for end-to-end online public service delivery and draft roadmaps for simplifying each specific procedure.
